AAC	MT	Advanced Audio Coding as standardized in ISO/IEC 13817-7.
AbbreviatedDisplayTitle	MT	A shortened version of the DisplayTitle which may be used for devices that have limited display capability.
AbbreviatedName		A short version of a Name (e.g. for use on devices with a small display).
Abstraction		A Class derived from the identification of common attributes of two or more Entities.
AcknowledgedMWLI		A MWLI which is acknowledged in a Message.
Acknowledgement		An Annotation in which the contributions of Parties to a Creation are recognized.
Active	MT	A LicenseStatus of a License which is active.
Actor	MT	A Party who performs spoken word or mime.
Adaptation		A Creation which is the result of modifying elements of another Creation. Examples: an arrangement of a song, a translation of a text, a remix of a SoundRecording.
AdaptedInOriginalLanguage	MT	A MusicalWork with its Lyrics modified but which remain in the original Language.
AdaptedInstrumentalWork	MT	A MusicalWork based on a pre-existing instrumental MusicalWork to which Lyrics have been added.
AdaptedWithNewLyrics	MT	A MusicalWork in which new Lyrics are added to existing Lyrics.
Adapter	MT	An Author of adapted Lyrics of a MusicalWork. Note: The adapted Lyrics may or may not result in a new copyright Creation.
ddexC:AdditionalInformation	MT	A Composite containing details of an AdditionalInformation.
AdditionalInformation	MT	An Annotation providing additional information or a commentary.
AdditionalInformationOnly	MT	A Type of an Entity which is described only in an AdditionalInformation element.
AdditionalMetadata	MT	A Resource which provides to the MessageRecipient additional data not provided in the DdexMessage.
Address		An Identifier which is a formal Description of a Place.
Adjective		A Quality of an Entity expressed as an adjective.
ddexC:AdministratingRecordCompany	MT	A Composite containing details of an AdministratingRecordCompany.
AdministratingRecordCompany	MT	A Party responsible for administering Rights in a Resource or Release. Note: This role does not entail any ownership or control of the exploitation of Rights, although the same Party may also be an owner or controller of Rights in that way.
AdministratingRecordCompanyRole	MT	A role played by a Party responsible for administering Rights in a Resource or a Release.
ADPCM	MT	Adaptive Differential PCM audio as defined in ITU G.721, 726 and 727.
AdvanceAmount		An Amount which is paid in advance.
AdvanceGroupReference		An Identifier of a AdvanceGroup Composite which is specific to a DdexMessage.
Advertisement		A Creation created as a public promotion of a product or service.
AdvertisementSupportedModel	MT	A CommercialModel where the Service or Product offering is financed by revenue generated from the sale of advertising.
AdvertisementVideo	MT	A Video created for specifically to promote another Video, embodying a MusicalWork.
AFR	MT	Alberta Film Ratings of Canada.
Agent		A Thing which is a cause of an Event.
AgentId		An Identifier of an Agent.
AgentName		A Name of an Agent.
AgreedUnitPriceExcSalesTax	MT	A "theoretical" Price per unit (excluding SalesTax) agreed between Parties sharing revenues from subscription-based sales as a basis for Royalties and other calculations.
Agreement		An Assertion made by two or more Asserters.
AgreementId		An Identifier of an Agreement.
AgreementOfAdditionalProvisionsRequired	MT	Additional provisions needs to be agreed before a License might be issued or a Claim be made.
Album	MT	A Release that is a digital equivalent of a physical SoundCarrier of an extended Duration, typically containing multiple Tracks of SoundRecordings. It may also contain bonus Resources.
AlertTone		A SoundRecording or MIDI used to alert a User of an Event (e.g. the arrival of an SMS) in a MobileTelephone. An AlertTone is typically a 3-4 second "snippet".
AlertToneRelease	MT	A Release containing a Resource for use as an AlertTone primarily on MobileTelephones.
AllDealsCancelled	MT	A Flag indicating whether all Deals referred to in a specific Composite are cancelled (=True) or not (=False).
Allocation		An Event in which an Amount of money is assigned to a Party.
AllOrderedReleasesInQueueRequestCall	MT	A Communication in the ERN Choreography (ECHO) regarding information about all Releases ordered for delivery.

Example: a song may become well known or "also known as (a.k.a.)" by its first line or a line from its chorus: "Don't Stop Me Now" performed by Queen may have an AlternativeTitle "Having A Good Time" or, "I will always love you" performed by Whitney Houston may have an AlternativeTitle of "Theme from Bodyguard".
Amount	MT	A Quantity of money.
ddexC:AmountByUseAndDistributionChannelType	MT	A Composite containing details of an Amount specified for a UseType and a DistributionChannelType.
AmountPayable	MT	A sum of money that is due to be paid.
AmountPayableInCurrencyOfAccounting	MT	An AmountPayable, measured in the Currency in which it has been accounted.
ddexC:AmountPerCollection	MT	A Composite containing details of an Amount that has to be paid per Collection.
AmountTotal		A calculated Amount.
Animation	MT	An audio-visual Recording using a rapid display of a sequence of images of 2-D or 3-D artwork or model positions in order to create an illusion of movement.
ddexC:Annotation	MT	A Composite containing details of an Annotation.
Annotation		An utterance which provides descriptive or other information or opinion about an Entity.
AnnotationComposite		A Type of Composite containing details of one or more Annotations.
AnyType		An unspecific DataType. It is represented in XML as an xs:anyType Element.
ddexC:AppliedRoyaltyRate	MT	A Composite containing details of an applied RoyaltyRate.
Architect	MT	A Designer of a building.
ArrangedWithNewMusic	MT	A MusicalWork to which new music is added to existing music.
Arranger	MT	A modifier of musical components of a Work. Note: The arranged MusicalWork may or may not result in a new copyright Creation.
Artist	MT	A principal Contributor to a Performance of a MusicalWork or a NonMusicalWork that results in the creation of a Resource. Note: Used for naming groups as well as individuals.
ddexC:ArtistRole	MT	A Composite containing details of an ArtistRole. Note: This can be used in a DdexMessage in relation to any Performance or Fixation either of which may form the whole or part of the Resource itself. Example: if an "AssociatedPerformer" is shown as a Contributor to a MusicalWork it refers to a Performer of a Resource (e.g. a SoundRecording) expressing the MusicalWork.
ArtistRole	MT	A role of a principal Contributor in relation to a Performance or a Fixation.
ASCII	MT	American Standard Code for Information Interchange as defined in ISO 464.
Aspect		An intrinsic Attribute of an Entity which is a Class of intrinsic Attributes of that Entity.
AspectRatio	MT	A Rate of an Image formed by dividing the ImageHeight by the ImageWidth.
AsPerContract	MT	A Type of an Entity used when a MessageSender wishes to indicate that the value within the allowed value set is defined by the contractual relationship between MessageSender and MessageRecipient.
Asserter		An Agent in an Assertion.
Assertion		An Event in which a truth claim is made about a Statement.
AssertionId		An Identifier of a Assertion.
AssociatedPerformer	MT	An Artist commonly associated with a Work as one of its Performers, and whose identity is only used for accurate Work identification.
Attribute		A Thing that is possessed by another Thing (an Owner).
AudioBitRate		A BitRate for audio data.
AudioBitsPerSample		A number of bits that are available for the quantization of an audio sample.
AudioChapter	MT	A section of a SoundRecording defined by a start and end point. Typical AudioChapters are chapters of audio books.
AudioClip		A shortened SoundRecording.
AudioClipRelease	MT	A Release predominantly containing excerpts from SoundRecordings.
AudioCodec		An algorithm to compress and uncompress an AudioResource for storage and/or transmission.
ddexC:AudioCodecType	MT	A Composite containing details of an AudioCodecType.
AudioCodecType	MT	A Type of AudioCodec.
AudioLogo	MT	Music which is used as an audible logo within the containing Resource, Collection or Release.
AudioProduct	MT	A Product that is predominantly comprised of AudioResources (SoundRecordings or MIDIs).
AudioRelease		A Release predominantly containing AudioResources.
AudioResource		A Resource of a hearable Creation.
AudioSamplingRate		A number of samples per time unit taken from a continuous audio signal to make a digital signal.
AudioVisualCarrier		A Carrier of a Video.
AudioVisualFixation		An audio-visual Fixation.
Author	MT	A Creator of written or spoken words which form part of a Resource.
AvailableForDSP	MT	A ReleaseAvailabilityStatus indicating that a Release is available for a DSP.
AVC	MT	Advanced Video Coding as specified in ISO/IEC 14496-10.
AverageCueSheet	MT	A CueSheet that proportionally represents the music used within a given Series, Season or Episode.
ddexC:AvRating	MT	A Composite containing details of a rating for an audio-visual Creation.
