A Place is a primitive Entity which depends on the concepts of LocalizablePlace ("a Place which can be localized by reference to spatial co-ordinates") and NonLocalizablePlace ("a Place which cannot be localized by reference to spatial co-ordinates"). The latter most commonly refers to VirtualPlaces identified by such things as telephone numbers, URLs and email addresses. At its most abstract, a Place is represented by a set of spatial co-ordinates or a VirtualPlaceID. At its most concrete, it may be represented by an Entity which occupies those co-ordinates, such as a building, an area of land or a computer.
