Category: Scope A Category is a "controlled value" which enables an Entity to be grouped or described according to common or measurable attributes. A Category may be expressed in a variety of forms: for example, the height of a person may be categorized as a Flag (eg IsTall=True), a Class (eg TallPerson), an adjectival Quality (eg Tall), a nounal Quality (eg Tallness) or a numeric Quantity (eg Height=GreaterThan 1.92 metres). |
