DescriptorExtension |
A Descriptor which extends another Descriptor. |
Comments |
DescriptorExtension: Scope DescriptorExtensions are Descriptors that extend a Descriptor. Example: Subtitle. A DescriptorExtension is not an AlternativeDescriptor because it cannot be used independently of the PrincipalDescriptor that it complements. Example: A Subtitle is not a complete Title on its own, and exists to extend or supplement a Title. Note that a DescriptorExtension is a DescriptorPart of an ExtendedDescriptor that is formed by concatenating the Descriptor and its DescriptorExtension. |
