Place
A point or portion of three-dimensional or virtual space.
Comments Scope:
A Place is a primitive Entity which depends on the concepts of LocalizablePlace ('a Place which can be localized by reference to spatial co-ordinates') and NonLocalizablePlace ('a Place which cannot be localized by reference to spatial co-ordinates'). The latter most commonly refers to VirtualPlaces identified by such things as telephone numbers, URLs and Email addresses. At its most abstract, a Place is represented by a set of spatial co-ordinates or a VirtualPlaceID. At its most concrete, it may be represented by an Entity which occupies those co-ordinates, such as a building, an area of land or a computer.
