Agreement

A supporting term for the messages.

An Assertion made by two or more Asserters.

Comments

Scope: An Event in which two or more Parties agree that something is true. Agreements include all forms of License. In DDEX an Agreement is an Event, not a TextDocument, though its terms will normally be captured in a physical or digital TextDocument such as a contract.

Relationships
Parents	Assertion	An Event in which a truth claim is made about a Statement.
Children	CatalogTransfer	An Agreement in which all relevant rights are transferred from one RightsController to another, temporarily or permanently. CatalogTranferrs include situations where a RightsController authorizes a Party to be an exclusive licensee.
	ControlledCompositionAgreement	A Agreement between an Artist and the record label whereby the RoyaltyRate of Works recorded by the Artist may be reduced for exploitation of the mechanical rights.
	License	An Agreement which is a policy about the intended or permitted Use of a Creation, in which one of the Parties is a RightsController of the Creation, and the other is (or represents) a potential User.
