Rock n Roll constitutes an early incarnation of Rock music, a genre of popular music characterized by small groups, boogie woogie blues rhythms, and often sexual lyrics. Rock n Roll had a massive social impact, influencing dance, fashion, language and other art forms, and would generate innumerable new genres over the ensuing decades.
