PsychedelicRock
Influenced by the psychedelic culture of the 1960s, Psychedelic Rock bands sought to expand the possibilities of Rock music by incorporating Eastern musical traditions, unusual effects for instruments and free-form song structures. Psychedelic Rock tends toward a dreamy impressionism in its aesthetic, though many of its practitioners were also attached to a traditional, hard-driving Rock sound.
