Bachata |
Bachata is the traditional music of Dominican Republic. It combined Cuban, Puerto Rican and African music traditions and is closely related to Bolero. It is the predecessor of Merengue. It has undergone many changes to get to it's contemporary form, but in it's original incarnation it featured a lead accordion. |
