NameExtension
A supporting term for the messages.
A Descriptor (such as a SubTitle) which is supplementary to, but not contained within, a Name.
Comments Scope:
A NameExtension is a Descriptor which extends an existing Name without being a part of it. A SubTitle is the most common form of a NameExtension. For example, Steven Pinker's 'Words And Rules' has the SubTitle 'The ingredients of language'. The NameExtension is not in itself a Name of the Resource, because it is in insufficiently complete on its own. A NameExtension is therefore classified as a Descriptor of the NamedResource, but it belongs as a NameExtension to the Name of the Resource.
