Release

A message term used as an enumeration in a restriction.

An abstract entity representing a bundle of one or more Resources compiled by an issuer for the purpose of distribution to individual Consumers, directly or through intermediaries. The Resources in Releases are normally primarily SoundRecordings or music audio-visual recordings. The Release is not itself the item of trade (or Product). Products have more extensive attributes than Releases; one Release may be disseminated in many different Products.

Parents	ResourceSetAbstraction	An abstract entity representing a bundle of one or more Resources.
Children	Album	A Release that is a digital equivalent of a physical SoundCarrier of an extended Duration, typically containing multiple Tracks of SoundRecordings. It may also contain bonus Resources.
	AudioBookRelease	A Release containing, chiefly, one or more Recordings of the reading of a book or manuscript.
	AudioRelease	A Release predominantly containing AudioResources.
	Compilation	A Release that comprises, to a significant degree, SoundRecordings (or other primary Resources) that have previously been released on non-compilations.
	ComponentRelease	A Release that comprises several other Releases.
	DigitalBoxSetRelease	A Release consisting of a media bundle assembled out of other existing Albums. It may contain a mixture of both audio and video Albums, as well as bonus material. The bundled Albums become components within the digital boxed sets resource group structure.
	DjMix	A Release containing one SoundRecording that is mixed from several other (typically commercially released) SoundRecordings.
	EBookRelease	A Release typically for use as an EBook.
	ExtendedPlay	A mid-size Release ranging between a Single and an Album.
	GameRelease	A Release containing typically one or more Game Resources.
	ImageRelease	A Release containing an Image Resource.
	KaraokeRelease	A Release typically for use in Karaoke applications.
	LyricSheetRelease	A Release containing typically one or more lyric sheet Resources.
	ReleaseComponent	A Release that is comprised in another Release.
	SheetMusicRelease	A Release containing typically one or more Resources representing sheet music.
	Single	A Release with a short total Duration, typically containing one or two Tracks of SoundRecordings.
	SingleResourceRelease	A Release containing a single Resource.
	TrackRelease	A Release containing normally one SoundRecording.
	TransactedRelease	A Release that is used in a transaction.
	VideoRelease	A Release containing typically one or more Video Resources.
