Compilation

A supporting term for the messages.

A Release that comprises, to a significant degree, SoundRecordings (or other primary Resources) that have previously been released on non-compilations.

Relationships
Parents	Release	An abstract entity representing a bundle of one or more Resources compiled by an issuer for the purpose of distribution to individual Consumers, directly or through intermediaries. The Resources in Releases are normally primarily SoundRecordings or music audio-visual recordings. The Release is not itself the item of trade (or Product). Products have more extensive attributes than Releases; one Release may be disseminated in many different Products.

	CdExtraCompilation	A CD Extra Compilation.
	DccCompilation	A DCC Compilation.
	InternalCompilation	A Compilation where the rights in all parts are controlled by the Label providing the mandate.
	LpCompilation	An LP Compilation.
	McCompilation	An MC Compilation.
	MiniDiscCompilation	A MiniDisc Compilation.
	NonInternalCompilation	A Compilation where some rights in a part are controlled by a Label not providing the mandate.
	SacdCompilation	A SACD Compilation.
