Creator

A message term used as an enumeration in a restriction.

A Maker of a Creation.

Comments

Scope: A Creator may be any kind or combination of Persons: that is Persons or Organizations. Creators may play roles of any size or type. They may contribute directly or indirectly to the Making of the Whole or merely a Part of a Creation.

Parents	Maker	An Agent who makes something.
Children	Animator	A Party who creates an animated work.
	Author	A Creator of written or spoken words which form part of a Resource.
	Choreographer	A Creator of a dance.
	Compiler	A Party creating a work by selecting, arranging, aggregating, and editing other works.
	Composer	A Creator of the musical elements of a MusicalWork.
	ComputerGraphicCreator	A Creator of computer graphics.
	ComputerProgrammer	A Creator of a computer program.
	Conceptor	A Party on whose original idea a Work is based.
	Designer	A Creator of a design.
	Dissertant	A Person presenting a thesis for an academic degree.
	Draughtsman	A Creator of a plan for constructing something.
	Dubber	A Creator who adds the dubbing into a Resource.
	Encoder	A Creator processing and encoding a Resource for distribution.
	Facsimilist	A Creator of a copy.
	FileCreator	A Creator of a File.
	GraphicArtist	A Creator of a drawing.
	Illustrator	A Creator of an illustration.
	Lithographer	A Creator of a print using lithography.
	MetalEngraver	A Creator of an engraved piece of metal (mainly for decorative purposes).
	Painter	A Creator of a painting.
	Photographer	A Creator of a Photograph.
	PlateMaker	A Creator of a print using a plate.
	Publisher	A Party that makes a Resource available. Publishers are also normally responsible for creating or compiling the Resource, and they will commonly be a RightsController in it.
	ReleaseCreator	A Creator of a Release. Note, there may be multiple ReleaseCreators for each Release.
	Sculptor	A Creator of a sculpture.
	SubLyricist	A Creator who substitutes or modifies the existing Lyrics of a MusicalWork.
	WoodEngraver	A Creator of a print using wood engravings.
	Woodcutter	A Creator of a print using woodcuts.
Belongs to AVS	avs:CreativeMusicalWorkContributorRole	A creative Role played by a Contributor in relation to a MusicalWork.
