State

A supporting term for the messages.

A Context in which there is no acknowledged change in the attributes of any Entity.

Comments

Scope:
A Context in which some Resource or Party exists in an unchanging state: e.g., a Person lives, a Product is Available, an Error is present. Changes are brought about by Events, which give rise to new States. It is not that no attributes of a Resource or Party change, only that that their defined attributes within that Context do not change. Example: if a Person is resident in Canada from 2001 to 2003, this means that their resident status does not change in that period. The fact that they may get married or sign a recording contract in that period does not affect the unchanging nature of their State of residence.

Examples:
The availability status of a product; a marriage; the physical existence ('life') of Winston Churchill; a conflict of truth value between two statements

Children	ArtistRoleUnknown	A State in which an ArtistRole is unknown.
	CommercialReleaseDateInvalid	A State in which a commercial Release Date is not valid.
	ConflictingAvailabilityPeriods	A State in which multiple availability Periods are given that start on the same date for the same country for the same usage.
	ErnMissing	A State in which an ERN File is missing.
	FileMissing	A State in which a File is missing from a context in which it was expected to be found.
	FileOK	A State in which a File contains no errors.
	HashSumWrong	A State in which a HashSum is incorrect.
	IdentifierInvalid	A State in which an Identifier is not valid, e.g. because the same ISRC is given for two different tracks.
	IdentifierSyntaxInvalid	A State in which an Identifier syntax is not valid.
	InternalError	A State in which there is an internal error at the MessageRecipient.
	MetadataMissing	A State in which metadata fileds required according to the Profile in use are missing.
	NewReleaseMessageInvalid	A State in which an ern:NewReleaseMessage doesn't validate.
	NoDealForTrackRelease	A State in which there is no Deal for any Track Release.
	NoDealInNewReleaseMessage	A State in which there is no Deal section in the ern:NewReleaseMessage.
	PrimaryArtistNameMissing	A State in which a Name of the primary Artist is missing.
	PublicDomain	Ownership or control by no specific Party. No RightsClaim can be made on Rights in a Creation which are in the public domain.
	ResourceCorrupt	A State in which a Resource is corrupt.
	ResourceMissing	A State in which a Resource is missing from a context in which it was expected to be found.
	ResourceNotMeetingSpecifications	A State in which a Resource is valid, but does not meet required minimum specifications.
	RightShare	A percentage or fraction of a Right for a Creation for a particular Time and Place in which a Party claims a controlling interest. Note: controlling interest includes ownership and/or administration.
	SignatureOrHashSumWrongOrMissing	A State in which a Signature or a HashSum is incorrect or missing.
	SignatureWrong	A State in which a Signature is incorrect.
	UnsupportedUsage	A State in which a usage (e.g. a CommercialModelType or a UseType for the commercial relationship between the MessageSender and the MessageRecipient) is invalid.
