A Release that is a digital equivalent of a physical SoundCarrier of an extended Duration, typically containing multiple Tracks of SoundRecordings. It may also contain bonus Resources.

Scope: Specific rules for Duration and/or numbers of Tracks of an Album (as opposed to a Single) may be applied in different territories.

Relationships
Parents	Release	An abstract entity representing a bundle of one or more Resources compiled by an issuer for the purpose of electronic distribution to individual Consumers, directly or through intermediaries. The Resources in Releases are normally primarily SoundRecordings or music audio-visual recordings. The Release is not itself the item of trade (or Product). Products have more extensive attributes than Releases; one Release may be disseminated in many different Products.
Children	ClassicalAlbum	An Album that contains one or more SoundRecordings based on classical MusicalWorks, i.e. MusicalWorks that typically shows a hierarchy of components such as a concerto with multiple movements.
	VideoAlbum	A Release typically containing multiple Video Tracks. It may also contain bonus Resources.
Belongs to AVS	avs:ReleaseType	A Type of Release according to its content, Duration and/or number of components. Note: a ReleaseType is the form in which a ReleaseCreator anticipates offering a Release to Consumers.
