Comments

Scope: A Format is a Creation devoid of its content. A Format is defined by aspects of form (for example: SensoryMode, ImageDimensionality, ImageMovement, StorageMedium, HousingMedium, Quantity, Shape, Encoding, IntermediationTool).

Relationships
Parents	Creation	An Output made, directly or indirectly, by one or more human beings. Creations include Works (including MusicalWorks), Resources (including SoundRecordings and Videos) and Releases.
Children	CarrierFormat	A physical Format which may be used as a Carrier.
	FileFormat	A File with specific formal characteristics.
	SoundFormat	A sound Format.
