VirtualPlace

A supporting term for the messages.

A NonLocalizablePlace with a unique Identifier which may be occupied by Resources which are perceivable using technology.

Comments

Scope: A VirtualPlace, such as a Web site, an email account or a Phone, has no geospatial co-ordinates, but Resources can be perceived as occupying it with the use of appropriate technology. For example, a document may be read or a video streamed at a URL; a voice may be heard at a telephone number. Although VirtualPlaces are not localizable, they are often related to Resources which are located somewhere.

Parents	NonLocalizablePlace	A Place which cannot be localized by reference to spatial co-ordinates.
