A Type of MusicalWork.

AVS Members AdaptedInOriginalLanguage A MusicalWork with its Lyrics modified but which remain in the original Language.
  AdaptedInstrumentalWork A MusicalWork based on a pre-existing instrumental MusicalWork to which Lyrics have been added.
  AdaptedWithNewLyrics A MusicalWork in which new Lyrics are added to existing Lyrics.
  ArrangedWithNewMusic A MusicalWork to which new music is added to existing music.
  CompositeMusicalWork A MusicalWork made up of two or more MusicalWorks (in whole or in part).
  DramaticoMusicalWork A MusicalWork composed of sounds with Lyrics and/or text to be performed by instruments and the human voice and to be performed in a dramatic context. Examples: opera, musical, play with music, revue or ballet.
  LyricRemoval A MusicalWork in which Lyrics are removed to leave an instrumental Work.
  LyricReplacement A MusicalWork in which Lyrics are completely replaced by new Lyrics.
  LyricTranslation A MusicalWork in which the original Lyrics are translated into another Language.
  Mashup A MusicalWork whose expression is an overlaying of existing MusicalWorks or excerpts from MusicalWorks. Note: A Mashup typically results in the creation of a new piece of intellectual property.
  Medley A MusicalWork whose expression is a combination of continuous and sequential existing MusicalWorks or excerpts from MusicalWorks. Note: A Medley does not normally result in the creation of a new copyright Work.
  MultimediaProductionWork A Work originally composed for use within a multimedia production not intended for broadcast. Examples: CDI, CD-ROM.
  MusicalWorkMovement A self-contained Part of a MusicalWork. While individual or selected movements from a MusicalWork are sometimes performed separately, a Performance of the complete MusicalWork requires all movements to be performed in succession.
  MusicalWorkWithSamples A MusicalWork which contains new material and one or more excerpts of other MusicalWorks. The creation process for such MusicalWorks usually involves sampling the excerpts of the MusicalWorks from other SoundRecordings of those MusicalWorks.
  MusicArrangement A MusicalWork (with or without Lyrics) in which musical elements have been taken from one or more other MusicalWork(s) and modified.
  MusicArrangementOfText A MusicalWork in which music is added to a pre-existing Text. Example: The song Auld Lang Syne composed to an earlier poem of the same name.
  OriginalLyricsArrangement A MusicalWork based on another MusicalWork, in which the Lyrics are in their original form.
  OriginalMusicAdaptation A MusicalWork based on another MusicalWork, in which the musical elements are in their original form.
  OriginalMusicalWork A first, independently created MusicalWork.
  Potpourri A MusicalWork whose expression is a combination of existing MusicalWorks or excerpts from MusicalWorks to which typically, additional original material has been added. Example: material may be added to provide musical links joining or combining the existing MusicalWorks. Note: A Potpourri typically results in the creation of a new piece of intellectual property and is sometimes known as Mashup.
  ProductionMusicLibraryWork A Work recorded for use primarily in audio-visual productions or broadcasts.
  RadioProductionWork A Work specifically created for use in an AM/FM radio production.
  TheaterProductionWork A Work specifically created for use in a theatrical production.
  TvProductionWork A Work specifically created for use in a traditional television production.
  Unknown A Type of an Entity used when a sender of a DdexMessage wishes to indicate that the value within the allowed value set is unknown.
  UnspecifiedArrangement A MusicalWork which has been modified but where no specific arrangement Type is known.
  UnspecifiedMusicalWorkExcerpt An excerpt from a MusicalWork, where the specifics of the excerpt are not known.
  UserDefined A Type of an Entity which is defined by a sender of a DdexMessage in a manner acceptable to its recipient.
  VideoProductionWork A Work specifically created for use in a video production. Examples: self-help videos, educational videos, ...
