Membership Categories
There are three tiers of membership:
- Charter Members
- Contributing Members
- Participating Members
The Charter Members of DDEX pay an annual membership fee of US$ 25,000. Organisations become Charter Members by invitation of the Board of Directors and are entitled as a result to:
- Appoint one member to the Board of Directors;
- Attend Plenary Meetings
- Nominate their representatives as chairs of Working Groups and
- Attend and vote in each Working Group.
Contributing Members are required to be a business entity with an interest in digital media content but with the initial focus being on entities whose business is centred on music and music related assets. Contributing members pay an annual membership fee of US$ 10,000 and are entitled to:
- Attend Plenary Meetings
- Nominate their representatives as chairs for Working Groups and
- Attend and vote in each Working Group.
Participating Members are required to be a business entity with an interest in digital media content but with the initial focus being on entities whose business is centred on music and music related assets. Participating members pay an annual membership fee of US$ 2,500 and are entitled to:
- Receive information from Working Groups and comment on drafts but not actively participate in Working Group meetings.
