Implementation Licence
Before you can undertake an implementation of one or more of the DDEX standards you require a DDEX standards' Implementation Licence. This document sets out the terms and conditions under which the DDEX standards may be used in an implementation within your systems. The full text of the licence is available here.
Once you have read and accepted the terms of the Implementation Licence and completed the reqired data entry (see below) the Implementation Licence will come into affect.
Once you have accepted the terms of the Implementation Licence you will be required to provide data about your organisation. This data will be stored in the DDEX Party ID Metadata Repository and you will, once that data has been suplied, be allocated a unique DDEX Party Identifier. This will enable your business partners to uniquely identify your organisation as a sender or receiver of messages exchanged using the DDEX Standards. Your DDEX Party ID metadata will be available on a read only basis to all other DDEX licensees. More information relating to this can be found in the DDEX Party Identifier Standard that can be found here.
