UilleanPipes |
The characteristic bagpipe of Ireland. They are not blown - rather, the bag is inflated by a set of bellows that the player pumps with their elbow. Sweeter and quieter than many other kinds of bagpipe. A full set of Uilleann Pipes generally consists of bellows, a chanter, three drones - a tenor, a baritone, and a bass - as well as three regulators - a tenor, a baritone, and a bass - which provide harmonic accompaniment. |
