PreClassical
Transitional period between the Baroque and the Classical eras. It is sometimes referred to as Galant or Rococo, and in this time period, established Baroque composers such as Handel and Telemann continued to compose in the old style even as proponents of the new, more homophonic style such as C.P.E. Bach flourished.
