EarlyRenaissance
Consists primarily of the years 1400 to 1470. Late Medieval techniques such as isorhythm continued to be used in the Early Renaissance, even as newer developments such as triads took hold. Many composers began to prefer simpler, prettier music over the often highly complex styles of late Medieval music, while other composers increased the complexity of their music.
