Carillon
A massive instrument consisting of a set of at least 23 bronze, cup-shaped bells hung in the bell tower of a church or municipal entity. Commonly found on American college campuses. The bells are played by keyboards resembling the form of a typical keyboard, but in which the keys are large lever-like sticks called batons. The batons can be pressed down by hands (and feet, as carillons often have pedal keyboards in addition to hand keyboards) to mechanically activate levers and wires connected to metal clappers that strike the inside of the bells.
