A supporting term for the messages.

A Part of a Creation.

Comments

Scope: An identified component or item of the content of a Creation. Examples: a chapter of a DVD, a Track on a CD or a fragment of a Medley. If the Creation is a MusicalWork, this is a section which typically is not recognised as an independent work in its own right and does not have its own ISWC.

Relationships
Parents	Part	A Resource which is part of another Resource.
Children	Bridge	A Part that connects other Parts of words and/or music in a Recording.
	Chapter	A thematic subdivision of a Video or a SoundRecording.
	Chorus	A Part of the lyrics that is repeated after each Verse.
	Drop	A Part characterized by the point in time a build-up and/or Intro, after reaching its climactic point, switches to the (often) bass-driven body of a Recording. There can be more than one of these points in time within the same Recording. Drops are found in genres such as dubstep and drum & bass.
	Episode	A Part of a Series made available at a specific point in time. It may be that a Season or Series is not yet complete when an Episode is made available. Episodes include 'pilots'.
	FirstLineOfText	The first line of a text.
	Fragment	A Creation which is a Part of another Creation.
	Hook	A Part of a Track that is most memorable.
	Intro	A Part of a Recording that a DJ can talk over without obscuring the vocals or lead melody.
	JazzScats	Wordless vocables or nonsense syllables as used in vocal jazz.
	KeyChange	A Part of a Recording characterized by a musical key change.
	MedleySegment	A Part of a Medley.
	MessageHeader	A Part of a Message containing administrative information about it.
	MiddleEighth	A Part of a Recording with a significantly different melody and lyrics, which helps a song develop itself by creating a contrast to the previously played part. A MiddleEighth is usually placed after the second Chorus.
	Outro	A Part of a Recording with a concluding section comprising music and/or words which is neither a Verse or a Chorus.
	PotpourriSegment	A Part of a Potpourri.
	Preview	A Part of a Recording that a service is recommended to use when preparing a preview.
	Side	A side of a Carrier.
	Track	A distinct component of a SoundCarrier or AudioVisualCarrier containing a Recording.
	UsedPart	A Part of a Track that has been used for some particular purpose.
	Verse	A group of lines in the lyrics that form a unit.
