A Party who owns and/or controls Rights in a MusicalWork and/or a Resource.

Relationships
Parents	StateParty	A Party that plays a role in a State.
Children	AdministratingRecordCompany	A Party responsible for administering Rights in a Resource or Release. Note: This role does not entail any ownership or control of the exploitation of Rights, although the same Party may also be an owner or controller of Rights in that way.
	MusicPublisher	A Party which has acquired Rights in one or more MusicalWorks for a specified Territory and Period. Note: A MusicPublisher typically administers and promotes the exploitation of the acquired Works. This term includes OriginalPublisher and SubPublisher.
	Publisher	A Party that makes a Resource available. Publishers are also normally responsible for creating or compiling the Resource, and they will commonly be a RightsController in it.
	RightsAdministrator	A Party administrating Rights on behalf of one or more RightsControllers.
	RightsControllerOnProduct	A RightsController as it appears on a product.
	RoyaltyAdministrator	A Party that collects and distributes Royalties on behalf of one or more RightsControllers.
